I do not believe CID Numbers are Scriptable, as that would be the only cost effective way of do it. They need to look at another Option than to be using CID Numbers as some Items can be totally diffrent yet be derived from same CID.
I don't believe you can do today's job with yesterday's methods and be in business tomorrow.
