Can we Develop Add-Ins like Revit for CADMEP

Dear Guys,

 

Guys if any one have any idea that can we develop Add-Ins like Revit in CADMEP. If yes please guide me to do or give me reference link so that i can try.

Any help is appreciated and help me. error.png

I would check out the Fabricaiton SDK doc.  It has a very similar api then Revit.  Attached is the Fabricaiton 2017 sdk document.

Dear Nathan,

 

With the help of Fabrication.chm. I am able to create Plugin for ESTmep and CAMduct. But while going to create Add-Ins for CADmep i need some assistance. If possible please provide me step by step procedure for CADmep.

 

I am not getting meaning of highlighted text in image.Sample.png

Look in this location on your computer C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication 2016\SDK.  There is an example that will show you what you are looking for.

Dear Nathan,

 

Thank you for reply. Still i facing some issue. Not able to run Sample Fabrication Application. I attached a video please review and guide me where i did mistake.

 

While i am trying to load FabricationApI.dll through Netload in Cad. It stop at loading AeciRibbonUiApi.. . It also heepn while run fabrication sample.

Put those files in this location C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins.  That should solve your problem.

Which files FabricationApI.dll? and what is the use of FabricatioSample.Addin?

You want the whole folder.

Very thank to you. Now i am getting Icon of fabrication Sample but while click on Icon getting below error message.

i am searching some where find that need to reinstall . Can you please suggest me why this is happen . I also open project in visual studio and rebuild dll then again same thing happen.

 

So i give Full permission to folder FabricationSample.bundle  but still same thing happen.

i got the problem solved. i missed to load CADmep "CADmep20_1x64.arx". Thanks for your support
