Associativity

How to remove the association between a design view and a drawing view?

Save it as dwg Autocad, and you will lost it forever.

I just can save as Inventor Drawing Files (dwg) or Inventor Drawing Files (idw) and both keep the associativity with my design view.

Don't have options for break the link with the design view?

HI!

A tool to break or suppress associativity between 2D and 3D... I guess not... maybe another workaround could exist...  

At the end, the main goal is to have the drawing associative with the 3D model... so...

Yes I know. But for example, I would like to create an assembly view and to see all the components I need they are not under constraints and when I update constraints on my design view, I lose automatically this assembly view

Breaking links is not the solution.

For that, you have the exploded views.

With that, you can explode the models, create mounting schemes, make videos, images, animations, create drawing views exploded, etc
