Hi,
I'm making a sheet metal template and I was wondering if there is already a ilogic rule out there that automatically fills in the 'Label' as the actual 'Part Number' when I bring the part into the .idw drawing? In addition, I would need the label to have 'FLAT-PATTERN' underneath if I choose to bring in a flat-pattern view. The label format should look like:
<PART NUMBER>
SCALE <SCALE>
FLAT-PATTERN
I would appreciate any direction or help!
Thanks!

You do not need iLogic for this.
You need to modify the relevant style in your template file.
Styles Editor > Standard (select the active standard) > "View Preferences" Tab.
Once you get there, you can click the pencil beside the Display Box to change the view label for the selected view type.
There is likely much more documentation out there between autodesk university, the generic autodesk documentation, and the google machine.
