Recently i made a change to my title block in my drawing standard. Now every time I go to make a new drawing i get this style conflict error message.
What i did that caused this was changed the font in the styles and standards editor in my .dwg template.
I tried to open a new drawing after getting the error and made a copy of the default standard. Then i made my changes to the text section and saved and closed the styles editor. Then i saved a copy in my templates folder. If i open the standard.dwg from my templates folder the changes are all there. But i still get the message on opening a new drawing.

Didn't get any answers but hopefully this helps someone. My problem was that the project was in read only mode. The save button on the material and appearance was disabled. To change that just right click on the read only in your project and change it to read/write. Then you will be able to save your edits in the style library.

I know this is an old posting but I am having this same problem, but when I right click over that the options are grayed out. So frustrated trying to get the settings I want to be available to all new drawings in this project. Any ideas. Thanks.

Always save a copy of the drawing before trying anything suggested here.
