Automating Template Replacement on Large Batch of Drawings

I am attempting to update the template used in a large batch of old drawings. This includes a title block, revision block, and updating the features within the drawing to have the new templates properties. These features include dimension, text, and model line color. Transfer Wizard helps to update the title block, but I’m trying to avoid copying and pasting the old drawing sheet into a blank version of the new template a few thousand times, in order to get the other features to update. Automating this process is ideal but I’m a little limited on knowledge in both iLogic and VBA to really discern which would be more effective. If you have had experience with such manipulation of files I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on what direction to go.

I think you just need to use the "Update Design" task in Task Scheduler

Any suggestion on how to define what new template needs to be used through the Update Design window?
