Modify Content Center Parts - weight

I am working with Inventor Professional 2015, in all our assemblies, parts the template we use have the Units set up for Mass is set to lbmass.

When I put any contents center parts standard or custom into an assembly, it I open that part and check the iproperties, under Physical and Update it calculates the part in Mass in kg.

When the custom parts were originally created with a table assocaited to them, they were set up with the lb set up.  Is there a  setting somewhere in Inventor or maybe it is in Vault (2015) that needs to be changed?  If so I can't find one.

I would really appreciate some help.  In the drawings and assemblies as a whole, it technically doesn't matter as the output will be in lbs.  It just when I open the piece individually and check it's weight default it shows kg.

I wouldn't want to open all custom parts and reset the Document settings, units in each that are created to lbs.

Thanks

1. You can change replace the family template in the library so that the document units are in lbs, etc so that all parts created in the future are the correct units.

2. For old parts, you can go into the folder where the part is store and open just the document and change the units there.

Justin, Thank you for your help, I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond.

The original templates used to create the custom parts had the 'lbmass' already selected.  It seems when I create the part as the template, set up the parameters, Create iPart, then publish the part to the Content Center the link is broken at this time.(?)  I'm not sure why that is, possibly because more columns were added and configured to the Family Table?  Or maybe that is normal?

I have tried to 'Replace Family Template', selected the original .ipt created and I get a dialog box that says Import Part is Invalid.

We have way to many parts created through the contents center many of them structual parts, to fix by editing the units.  Even to fix as they are created seems like too much extra effort.  Fortunately the outcome seen on the drawings shows up correctly in lbs., since the templates for the ipt's, iam's and idw's are set up that way.

Someone accidently stumbled across this issue when they opened up a part they created from contents center to check the weight.  Although it doesn't cause any serious issues, it would be nice if all the content center parts created as well as manually created parts started with our .ipt template were all in the same configuration.  Our company uses our lengths in 'mm' and our mass in 'lbs'.
