Visual Studio 2022, Excel 365 - connecting to Inventor
Hello
After some reading up arriving here:
The next step would be to connect the Excel cell value to Inventor but can't currently connect Visual Studio 2022 to Excel 365, seeing 'Ambiguous in the namespace'.
Guessing it's something to do with adding a reference - maybe not this reference!
Working through this to set up the interface:

The previous code in vba (supplied here) :
is fast - (& opening/editing/closing different files using iLogic awkward.)
Just a few hurdles to jump now, I hope.
Regards
Andrew

Hello Branden
Not 100% sure how to check but a google returns this:
When you deploy Microsoft 365 Apps, it's installed on the user's local computer. Microsoft 365 Apps isn't a web-based version of Office. It runs locally on the user's computer. Users don't need to be connected to the internet all the time to use it.
So far the link to Inventor hasn't been added, currently trying to link to Excel with vb.net.
Regards
Andrew

Removed the reference & the error went away, until:
Similar problem posted here:
this is a tough hurdle - wondering if the list is exported as .csv & ditch excel.. although not keen because the next challenge is to export drawing iproperties to a spreadsheet so all project drawing values can be viewed/edited.
