Using Dynamo Customizer for Formit 360 Pro

The current customizers are available from the dynamoreach.com website.

However, there does not seem to be a way to uploading a custom graph to the site so that I can access via Formit.

Any pointers on how to achieve this would help very much!

Thank you!

I am glad you are trying out Dynamo customizers! The only way to upload a customizer to Dynamoreach.com is to publish a graph from Dynamo Studio. Go to the File menu and choose Share Workspace. This will publish the current workspace to Dynamoreach.com. Then, if you log into FormIt for Windows using the same A360 account, the graphs will appear in the Dynamo palette. Additionally, if you receive a URL from someone else's workspace, you can click the (+) icon on the Dymamo palette to add it.   Additionally, any shared workspace has a download button on the website where you can download the DYN file, load it into Dynamo Studio and re-publish to your own workspace. Note, Dynamo for Revit does not yet have this publish capability because there is no way (yet) to have Revit nodes in the cloud.

You can find some more information and a video here:  http://formit360.autodesk.com/blog/formit-360-dynamo-studio/

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Thanks Tom!! I was able to upload and bring the geometry into Formit360. However, I can't seem to find the properties (sliders) within Formit (as shown in the video). I can't find the sliders for the sample customizers either. They all come in as groups and the properties palette display only its instance properties. Am I missing something here?

This trips up a lot of people - and we hope to fix this in the future:  to edit the Dynamo sliders, you need to edit the Group. Double-click the imported Group that represents the customizer and you will see the sliders in the Properties panel. Good luck!

Ah, it makes sense. I guess the default user behavior is to double-click and select a sub element within the group - thus missing the Dynamo Properties altogether. Thanks!!!
