 The program simply hangs on the signing-in page as shown below;

Any idea how to solve this problem?

Same problem here. Waiting for an answer from Autodesk.

Greetings, Abelardo. It will be interesting to find out how long the wait will be. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling without luck. my suspicion is that something may be wrong with the installation file because it was such a problem just to uninstall Formit, that I had to do a system restore.

In the meantime, I will keep using Formit 360 version. It`s working for me.

Hi all,

Sorry for the inconvenience here. We've been working to figure out what could be happening - we are not seeing these results in our testing. Same with the uninstall comment above.

As for the login issue, can you both please verify:

- Machine manufacturer

- System specs incl. graphics card

- Is FormIt being run on a remote desktop/virtual machine?

- Is there a firewall on this machine?

- Can you access FormIt web (https://formit.autodesk.com/app) without issue?

Specific to abelardo's comment:

- When you say "FormIt 360 version" do you mean the older FormIt for Windows app (v15.1)?

Hi Josh. Thanks for your attention on this matter.

I was running Formit from the Revit plugin and using the Formit Web option. The problem was occurring only when I tried to launch the independent version of Formit for Windows. After some investigation, I found the cause. I opened my Nvidia Control Panel and on 3D Configurations, I changed my preferable Graphics Processor from Automatic to Nvidia High Performance Graphics Processor. I am not shure but it seems that Formit requires an independent graphics processor to run.

Max Marshall. I believe your problem is the same as it was mine.

Thanks for the update, Abelardo, that's great news.

Max - from your earlier post, it looks like you do not have a discrete graphics card on your machine, so Abelardo's tip won't work for you. The Intel HD graphics should be enough to run FormIt. Can you try updating the drivers for your Intel integrated graphics?

Hi Josh (& Abelardo),

You are quite right; I've been fiddling for the past few hours, but I have
updated my Intel HD drivers and will make a fresh attempt shortly. Fingers
crossed.

Thanks for being so responsive, Josh and thanks, Abelardo, for your
contribution.

Regards,

MM

I have the same problem !

My computer have 2 graphics cards.

I try with Intel HD Graphics 3000 and after with NVDIA Geforce GTX 560M; All cards with lastest drivers and without result. Always white or black windows for connection to A360...

Hello, vd.

I uninstalled my Nvidia, reinstalled it, updated all drivers (on Intel HD 3000 as well) and it still gave me a blank login screen; but then I restarted my system and it worked perfectly.

Hi all,

Sorry to bump an old thread but I seem to be having the same issue

I am running FormIt 16.0.237.0 on a Macbook Pro 15.4/2.5GHZ/16GB/512GB/mid-2015 with Parallels Desktop 11.2.3

Could anyone advise solution? Cheers

Hi phased,

Sorry, FormIt doesn't officially support Parallels. But you might try updating your graphics drivers on the Windows side, or experimenting with Parallels settings to ensure the GPU is fully enabled for apps like FormIt.

Hi, I also have a macbook pro and running parallels. Does anyone know how I can make this work? I am not so great with computers, so step by step information would be greatly appreciated.

This worked for me. Thanks!

Hello,

My laptop has 2 graphic cards:  NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M and the Intel® HD Graphics 3000.

I have followed all the steps mentioned above and in the other forums: Updating the drivers, reinstalling the drivers, reinstalling the latest version of Formit (which is supposed to have solved this issue)... but I still can't log in.

Please give me other options...

Hi @danielvillacism ,

Can you please tell us what behavior you're seeing when trying to launch FormIt? Do you see a message, a crash, a blank screen, etc?

With v17.0 and newer, you should see a message that your graphics cards are incompatible or out-of-date, instead of a crash.

Note that the suggestion above your post to set FormIt to use the high-performance NVIDIA card in the NVIDIA Control Panel is a good one to try as well.
