Hello, any help would be appreciated. I would like to extend the line (blue) and join it with another line, how to do?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

If you hover over the endpoint of the line you want to extend (the line itself shouldn't be selected), you should see a circular grip show up over the endpoint. Click this grip to select the vertex/point, and then move it over to join the other line. You can hold shift while on axis to make sure it stays straight as you move it.

Hope this helps.

Thank for the reply. I can extend the line, but I don't understand what is the purpose of the grip circle, why I need to locate it to some point before the line extension. I think it would be better if thing can be more straight-forward if the end point can be easily selected and dragged for line extension.

Josh, I noticed with the chrome app that there's no grip circle and you can move the end of a line in one step.

In FormIt Pro 16.3 (desktop app) there are grip circles for all movements. Is there a way to turn off the grip circle in the desktop app or should i resign myself to using the web app? I'm just learning the program and would like to advocate it's use in my office but am finding the grip circle functionality onerous.

You're probably in touch mode-

Hi Thomas,

Jeff might be right, is the Windows app in Touch Mode? That button in his screenshot will appear highlighted if so.

Touch Mode changes how FormIt interacts with your mouse, and adds touch-friendly grips which you don't need if you're only using your mouse. We're adding additional indicators in an upcoming update to let you know when Touch Mode might be on accidentally.

Let us know if this helps, and thanks for reaching out.
