Formit to revit

Hello, Does FormIt automatically create revit file types and saves them to your A360 Drive? I've only just recently started using FormIt and have about 4 projects started. I noticed that in my A360 drive account there are .rvt files that seem to have automatically populated for the first 3 projects but not the newest one I just created. I've also toyed with exporting so I'm not sure if in doing that it created the revit files. Can someone help clarify how the revit files are created? I was of the understanding that you have to export to .obj or .stl and then use FormIt 360 Converter to create a .rvt file. Am I then missing something about this process also?

Relatedly, I had trouble installing the FormIt 360 Converter where the first setup window indicates to agree to the license terms however no terms display, the country selection doesn't work and no buttons at the bottom work. Anyone know why this may be? I have the 2016 version of revit, as well as 2015 so not sure why it's not installing correctly, any tips?

Hi! Glad your are spinning up some projects with FormIt 360! The Revit file is created automatically using our cloud service every time you save your project file. There are times where that service can fail to deliver a RVT file if a) there is a problem with the FormIt file or b) the service is down for some reason. The Revit converter can ALSO be used to convert your FormIt 360 file to RVT (assuming you have Revit.)  Since it sounds like you have Revit, that is a good thing for you to try. As for you installer issue, make sure you UNZIP all of the files into a single folder before you run the setup.msi file. You have to unzip, not just view the ZIP file in Windows Explorer. For now, you have to use Revit 2015 - but we are working on a Revit 2016 version and will release it soon.
