Get geometry data from multiple design options

We are working on a GPT comparison tool, where we want to send geometry data from multiple design options of the same project.

We can get data like site limits, building mesh, sun analysis, etc. from the forma-embedded-view-SDK for the current design option; as a workaround to get data from multiple design options, we tried the HTTP reference API, but it seems methods to obtain that kind of data are not available yet. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hi,

Data like site limits and building meshes you can get using the Elements API. The data for the sun analysis is not yet available through HTTP APIs. Would you need results for ground (as supported in the forma-embedded-view-sdk) or do you need  it for buildings as well? If so, what kind of data format would be appropriate for your use case?

I got elements from a proposal using the Elements API. Is there a method to obtain all the proposals on a project? I tried the project's endpoint, but proposals are not part of the response. I also tried to find the project's URN to use with the Elements API and get the proposals that I assume are children of the project, but I was not successful. How could I accomplish this?

Regarding the sun analysis, I would need both. One of the types of projects we work on is solar plants. For that purpose, we need to get radiation on each of the panels and also on the terrain.

We are working on the HTTP API for listing proposal for a project. I will let you know when it is available. 

When you talk about the sun analysis, is it the Sun hours analysis or the Solar energy analysis you are referring to? 
Can you elaborate what analysis values you need for your use case and on what format you would prefer? We are very interested in learning about the use cases for working with the analysis results so we can develop new APIs.

Looking forward to the release on that specific endpoint, this is going to be a huge help for us.

Regarding solar, I mean Solar energy analysis, which is what we use to obtain the efficiency of each of the solar panels.

The idea is to allow our clients to quickly iterate over a basic design of a solar plant and then compare all the different design options and decide on one based on efficiency, cost, soil movement, etc

Regarding the solar energy analysis, can you elaborate on what results you are interested in and what format would be preferable for your use case?
