Hi,

Could you provide ratio between wall and opening for window types in Daylight Analysis?

Also a diagramatic example would be good.

(maybe in the help page?)

Thanks

Hi,

The article by Olina & Zaimi, Daylight prediction based on VSC - DF relation, Lund University referenced in the documentation provides more detailed information. Is the table on page 31 what you are looking for?

We are happy to  add more information to the help files, just wanted to ensure it is relevant.

Ok, this is very interesting info. The whole PDF is a bit too technical for regular architects(without environmental studies)...

So maybe in your documentation it should be resumed:

For housing:

- The diagram from Window1 to Window5 is good to keep. The Glass to Floor Ratio could also be mentioned.

- We can consider a Conventional Window W1 ?

Still... what is a regular window in Scandinavia, where light is welcomed inside and what is considered a regular window in Marokko or the South of Spain where light should be kept out?

Should we still have W1 as Conventional?

I don't know. What do you think? Maybe we should have examples from different places?

Thank you.
