Would you like to influence the evolution of Forma Site Design?

We are exploring new Forma Site Design capabilities and are looking to collaborate with industry professionals to ensure that what we build is valuable. We are interested in a collaboration that runs over the next three to six months, where we meet with you or your team on a semi-regular basis to learn about your design process, showcase and receive feedback on our sketches and prototypes, and validate ideas for possible future capabilities.

Who are we looking for?

We are interested in connecting with architects and urban planners with deep knowledge of the early phase design process, who ideally also have good knowledge of Forma Site Design. Ideally you:

  • Work on medium- to large-scale urban housing and mixed-use development
  • Rely on Revit for most design requirements, potentially leveraging Rhino and Sketchup for some early stage design needs.
  • Engage early in project cycles to define site composition/programming, explore massing potential and evaluate low LOD feasibility.

Discussion topics will range from the user experience as a whole to more specific themes relating to the site layout and modeling experience in Site Design.

What does the collaboration entail?

The exact format of collaboration can be tailored to your availability and preferences, however, ideally we envision:

  • Insight into your design process: we would like to get deeper insight into the problems you as an architect or urban planner need to solve. Could you take us through the design process in one of your projects?
  • Semi-regular feedback sessions on software capabilities: semi-regular meetings between our team and you (or your team) where we showcase and receive your expert feedback on early sketches and/or more mature prototypes of potential new Site Design capabilities.

Meetings will be hosted online on Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Prerequisites

Since our team would be sharing in-development features that may or may not end up in the software, you would need to sign a Non-disclosure Agreement and Customer Research Agreement.
