Geolocation - Where d'it go...??

We've been moving our project setup workflows towards FORM in recent months, and accepting that FORMA selects it's Coordinate System, we would bring the proposal into a blank model, and then reconcile it with our other models/data sets, however in the last week or so, the imports do not include any CRS information and the origin is just at 0,0,0 which has removed our ability to reconcile the proposals with anything else.
The upshot of this would be that FORM would probably not be viable unless used in isolation. Can anyone confirm if this is a temporary glitch or a lasting change...?

This is a bit of a deal breaker for us, and my concern is if we lose the excitement we've had with FORMA building in recent months, that is going to take us a long time to get users back interested in it. 😞

Can this be made optional in either the export or import options rather than just turned off... I realize its not easy to please all the people all the time

Hi @IAN~JAMES. I gather this is about the Forma-Revit Addin, is this right? We released a new version of that recently, v. 0.9.17, however it turned out this contained an error. We have rolled it back, and you can download the former version, 0.9.15, through the in-app appstore in the extension panel.

If I am guessing wrong here, could you elaborate a bit more?

That's actually better news than I was expecting, it sounds like there is a fix, I was thinking that this functionality may have been intentionally removed, I have seen a number of posts about the fact that FORMA writing it's coordinates to the project was problematic, we have however worked around that...

I'll have to get our IT folks in Australia update the plugin overnight hopefully, and have another go tomorrow

That solved it... I got the plugin rolled back to 0.9.15 overnight and I've managed to re-import the proposal this morning (uk time) with geolocation information \o/
