Hi!

Is there a way to exclude spesific bulding volumes from being analysed?

Its a housing project where the parking basement is a bit over terrain, and therefore nice to include as a boundary for noise ++ BUT! i dont want the geometry to be a part of the results percentage, as it is only interesting for me to see how the housing stories match the local regulations.

If I just delete the basement, i get the correct total area, but it keeps analyse the bottom surface underneath the buildings that are over terrain. In other words; i cant get any of the percentage correct.

Hello, thanks for reaching out! We are currently looking into functionality which would allow you to select only parts of the analysed objects and filter out the remaining results. It sounds like this would alleviate your issue -- would you be willing to be contacted to test out this functionality when we have a prototype ready? If so, feel free to DM me with your preferred contact details.

Best,

Knut

Hi, is there any update on that? The current process we're doing is import various obj objects into Forma, however we would like to exclude the context obj from analysis and only run the analysis on the proposal obj. Is that still not possible? Currently it pools everything into one layer and it's difficult to differentiate between the models as some refuse to be selected in the 3D view because of the level of complexity? Happy to go on a call to discuss the specific scenario if it helps.
