DXF import issues...

DXF as the only way to import 2D drawing has presented many issues, highlighted below:
1- DXF is only allowing to be placed flat on the topography, meaning I can only use it for site boundary? But we want to be able to also specify the placement location in the Y axis, and potentially use the imported 2D cad to trace over a building outline for example
2- The graphics in which the DXF comes in is unusable for any presentational purposes, why does it come with such thick lines? Can we edit those?
3- Can we retain the layers as in the original drawing? In other words, can we import DWG and control layers within Forma? That would open up so much potential. Many of our projects start in 2D format, and we don't want to exclude architects who prefer to use say AutoCAD/Microstation to draw our in 2D before we dive into 3D.
4- The ability to bring geolocated DFX. Coordinated DXF isn't working, falls outside of the context. The current advice that I've seen online is not ideal at all (I couldn't paste the link advice here), as we don't use AutoCAD MAP and we're not going to instal on 400 PCs just to fix an issue.
The inability to link a geolocated CAD drawing makes modelling in Forma impossible given our workflow, which I believe is very similar to other architectural practice.
Please can I get some advice on the above.
