Ghost items in Revit Model

I am working in REVIT 2026.4. I am new, 9 month user after decades with AutoCAD. I have a structural model that I have been working on for about 6 weeks. The model contains concrete slabs and footings, steel framing, and small wood frame structures all inside a metal building. I created a curtain wall with wood studs and plywood paneling on each side. That wall creation took some self teaching and some modeling and remodeling. Ultimately it was made the way I wanted it and everything seemed fine. About 2 weeks ago I exported the model to a STEP file for others in my company to use in SolidWorks. Once opened in SolidWorks extra curtain wall panels can be seen floating in space. These panels do not show in the original model. All visibility ranges and graphics seem to be correct, but I can not find them in the original model to delete them. This week I Linked the REVIT model to another Revit model and the linked image also has the ghost panels when viewed in the Host model. I have spent hours searching for a solution with Autodesk Assistant and other search engines, it seems there may be a cache somewhere that contains the panels and the Revit model is referring to that old data. Is that a possible problem? Is there any other experience with something similar?

SOLVED by Autodesk help. If the model discipline is changed to Architectural instead of Structural the walls I thought were "ghosts" become visible and they can be deleted.
