FOS Logs - can I delete them?

Regardless of the reply I receive, I probably have to...they are taking more than 50% of my 500 GB hard-disk space...

So, naturally I want to ask those in the know first!

I am using the desktop connector for very large ACC-Projects. In reality, I probably need a larger hard-drive considering the data-sets I am working with...but the fact that there are 276 GB of log-files also doesn't make much sense for me.

My day-to-day frustrations with the autodesk cloud-based "solutions" are growing; namely the file-management and clean-up systems...or better said, the lack thereof.

Can someone please advise me?

Cheers,

Matt

Hello @whp.m.owens & @caseyk
Starting with the DC 16.7.1 release we have made a change to the FOS logs creation and retention. With 16.7.1 and above, you should only see the current FOS log and the previous days FOS log. It is possible that previous logs could be kept even after you upgraded to DC 16.7.1 or above.

You CAN delete the FOS logs that are found in this location:
C:\Users(user)\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Desktop Connector\FOS\Logs

Note: If DC is running, the current (Today) log should not be deleted.

If you are you on 16.7.1 or higher and still seeing a large amount of FOS logs please let me know. It is possible for logs to get large based on operations that you are performing but it should not clear out after a couple days.
