Hi,
As an IT administrator for educational institutions (high schools) we have been utilising the Autodesk educational licenses for educational institutions.
We have a school wanting to install Flow Design in their student computer labs, however when trying to access the software I am advised:
We're sorry, this product is for students and educators only. It is not available for educational institutions on multiple computers and/or network servers.
I was wondering if anyone can advise why this software isn't available to educational institutions? Are there technical restrictions on the software that won't allow it to be deployed to multiple computers, or is it simply a decision from Autodesk not to license this for multiple machines/institutional use for education?
Just hoping to get a bit of background information to take back to the teachers/school staff around why we can't make it available for install in their classrooms.
Thanks
You can contact our Edcucation Community and our support team will be able to answer you. Could you please fill out this form to submit a request? Thanks!
Hi,
Did Autodesk give you a solution? i've the same request from my students.
best regards
Eric
Unfortunately not.
I had already posted the same question to Autodesk support and they advised they did not know the reason and suggested I post the same question to the discussion forums - i.e. here - for a response from their experts...
