I'm looking to see what the best way to switch license between two computers. I do most model development on my laptop, but I offload simulations / experimenter runs to my desktop that is much more powerful. Currently that process involves saving my model on laptop, returning the FlexSim license, remoting into my desktop, activating the FS license, waiting for OneDrive to sync the .fsm file (arguably the worst part), then running the simulations. Once the simulations are complete, I have to repeat that process in reverse.
I would like a way to improve this. I think this is a use-case for FlexSim webserver, though I can't get it working through my VPN at work. I wanted to see if there are any other creative ways to solve this; maybe there is a way to automate using the licenseactivation command? Potential for automating via the Python connector? Maybe the best option is just to keep trying to get FS webserver to work. Open to any suggestions. Thanks
