Dot Syntax Command Manual

Dot Syntax Command Manual

Because we are facing a change in the syntax in writing the source code, it would help to identify the commands which already follow the new syntax. I suggest to use two branches in the Commands Manual: one that contains the so far used syntax and a second that contains the new dot syntax. At the moment when the most commands fitts into the dot syntax the classic command manual is attached to the Archived Version Flexsim 16.7. With such approach we don't loose the categorical index and we can identify which commands are actually updated or exchanged.

The new dot syntax classes with their methods and properties can be found in the User Manual in FlexSim Coding > FlexScript Class Reference. As we add new dot syntax methods that replace old commands we've been moving the old commands into the deprecated section of the Commands list (Command Reference > Category Index > Deprecated), adding a deprecated tag to the description, and putting a link to the new dot syntax method.
