Using AStar for multiple floors

Using AStar for multiple floors

Hi,

It is sort of possible to use AStar for a multiple floor simulation as in this post. However, it is not particularly easy to use as one has to name the AStarNavigators with different names for each floor and the dividers are always drawn on the bottom level from which you have to copy them to the correct floor in the model tree. So not very easy although it should be possible.

Anyone else who would like to use AStar for multiple floors in some easy way?

Indoor logistics simulations would benefit from using multiple floors easily. Otherwise it is hard to get elevators and such work nicely. This though would require AStar to draw the dividers, barriers etc. for each floor depending on which AStarNavigator floor is chosen. And perhaps also some easy way to select when e.g. the operator has come to another level and thus should navigate according to another floor plan.

Thank you for considering this!

Kind regards,

Axel
