Why don't some of my activity properties display in Quick Properties?

In order to complete Tutorial 1.4 - Tasks Using Global Lists, I need to edit some of the Quick Properties for activities in my Process Flow; however, in my Quick Properties menu, it says "3 Activity Properties Not Displayed" and I cannot access the properties for these activities. Why won't the properties for these activities show up?

Quick Properties only displays the properties of up to 10 activities. You have two options for editing the properties of the bottom 3 activities:

1.You can click on the icon on the left side of individual activities to pull up the properties for just that single activity

2. Split your activity block into smaller blocks of activities (less than 10) connected with connectors. For example:
