using same operator over processes

Hi guys,
In my model I want an operator to take an item from the queue, bring it to the first processor, perform the processing, then bring it to the second processor and process it, then bring it to the third processor and process it, and finally place the item in storage. Afterwards, the operator should get another item from the queue. Operators 2 and 3 can also take an item once Operator 1 has taken one out of the queue.

I would suggest to write a reference to the operator to a label on the item at the first step. Every time an operator reference is needed after that read it from that label so that the same operator is used.

In the attached model I use a task sequence list and Process Flow to do the initial assignment of operator to item. Managing the availability of the operator through a Resource in Process Flow saves having to juggle priorities and preemption settings to prevent them from grabbing a second item before finishing the first.
