Two Advanced AGVs - Question

Hi,

Is it possible to configure two AGV Advanced units so that each one always drives to its own destination?

I have two separate task lists and two separate AGV Advanced Process Flows. One AGV always follows the correct route, but the other sometimes goes to the correct destination and sometimes drives around and after that goes to correct point.

At the end I want to build a simulation with three tugger trains where each train will have its own destination after loading. They may sometimes use the same or similar routes but each train will always be assigned to its own destination.

Is there a simple way to fix this or would it be better to build the Process Flow from scratch?

Thanks for your support!

The Advanced AGV Process Flow will only send an AGV directly to an unload location if the capacity limit of the AGV is reached. Otherwise the AGV will follow the NextWorkPoint-loop until it happens to pass the location where it's supposed to unload items. When the NextWorkPoint loop contains a split, the outgoing connections will be used in round robin fashion.

To create two fully independent flows they must use separate work point loops. You can create a new connection type in the AGV network properties (Control Point One Way and check option to automatically create a list). Then link the new connection's list with the NextWorkPoint list activity in the Process Flow.
