With how you're using the AGV network, I suggest using a more traditional AGV network like the one found in the AGV tutorial in the User Manual (Tutorials > Additional Tools Tutorials > Tutorial 2 - Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs)).
Otherwise, if you just want to use a simple path for the Transporters to travel on while performing travel tasks, I would suggest using Network Nodes instead.
