hi, i am trying to add a "Global Variable" into the model, but the corresponding menu "Modeling Logic" is grayed out. it is because these options are not possible to use in trial version 2024 maybe? thanks

Yes, the trial version does not include those options. You can see a table listing the licence differences in the post linked below.
