Specify conveyor decision points(DP)

I have a few questions about the conveyor dp assignment. I created a trigger to go from DP1 to DP4 in path1, but I want it to stop at DP3 for about 18 seconds and then go. In other words, Dp1 -> Dp3, stop for 18 seconds -> Dp4

DP3 currently does not trigger for items moving from right to left, since it sits farther along on the conveyor than the left transfer point (I increased the decimal precision in the model settings to better show this)

If you move the DP back to 0.91 meters along, the trigger option to "Stop and Wait" can be used to stop items with Type 1.

Another thing you might want to adjust is the transfer speed. The default setting for a side transfer is to use a fixed speed of 1m/s. You can change this to "Motion Aligned Conveyor Speed", to the items don't suddenly speed up when crossing the intersection.

I have a one more question. What does distance along mean in flexsim?

It's the position of the decision point measured along the conveyor. DP3 is placed 0.91m from the start of the conveyor it sits on.
