Robot Box unload issue

Hello Team,

Details:

  • Robot 2 is configured to unload boxes onto pallets.
  • In a batch of two pallets, if one pallet is empty, the model shows an error.

Questions:

  1. How can we modify the logic so Robot 2 continues unloading on the available pallet?
  2. How can we ensure the empty pallet moves to the sink automatically?

Attached: Model file for reference.

Hey @Pooja_inde, I modified your model to check for an empty pallet. I only modified it for if the 2nd pallet is empty, but the same principles apply for if the 1st, so you can copy the pattern and apply it if you need.

Basically, I just check to see if the pallet is empty using the following code:

token.item.subnodes.length == 0

If it is, then I skip either the loading or the waiting and just resume the pallet and release the robot.

In the Push to List code, if there is an item in the pallet, I return it (see line 8 of the code). Otherwise, if the pallet is empty, I return -1. The Pull from List will pull a -1, and I check to see if that value is -1 to pivot.

If you want to do more advanced logic or add more robots/stations/lines, I recommend reworking your Process Flow so it utilizes Sub Flows to reuse activity sets.

Hope this helps!
