Reload media issue

[ FlexSim 21.0.0 ]

demo.FBX

Before flexsim version 20.0, the texture of fixed resources is unchanged.

However, when I try to upgrade flexsim version higher than 20.0, the texture is changeable after applying Reload media button.

The following three figures show texture exception when using the attached demo model, such as entirely black source in flexsim 20.2, and the texture is randomly changed by using 21.0.

Hello

after testing different versions of software on multiple computers by engineers, they are all as shown in the figure below. Open the source file at the same time to check that it is not a software problem. You can check whether your computer's graphics card configuration meets the software operating requirements, or check whether the graphics card driver is updated.

@CSN Firstly, much thanks for your quick reply.

The following attached video is made based on flexsim 21.2.4, in which the texture issue can be found. We have tried many times, but the texture is changed for each time after applying Reload media button, as you can see in the video.

We suppose that the cause of this phenomenon lies in the new updated feature of "Improved performance of loading media by making it multi-threaded", which is normal in 20.0 seried versions.

Hello:

After the engineer’s system test, this problem was only found on computers with integrated graphics cards. The problem was not found when using discrete graphics cards. You can try to run the FlexSim with discrete graphics cards.

I was able to duplicate the issue.

I'll add a case to the dev list.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
