Release item to a merging conveyor based on type and quantity

Hi I have two conveyors that merging into one. I would like to have first conveyor to release 5 items following by the second conveyor release 5 items. After which it goes back to the first conveyor.

How can it be done in the enclosed model?

In the attached model I use a label "Pass" on two decision points that decrements each time an item passes. If it reaches zero, the next item will be stopped and at the same time a message is send to the other decision point. In the message trigger the counter is reset to 5 and in case a stopped item is currently at the decision point it gets resumed.
