Ranged Based Experiment Bug?

Hi @Jordan Johnson ,

I was using the new feature of the Experimenter. Once the Run is completed all of the objects automatically check the No Select option.

I upload a model showing how I set the parameters the first time it happened to me in case is something particular of this option with the Dispatcher

Is this a bug or is there any other reason why this happens?

That is concerning to me. Unfortunately, I can't replicate the issue. In the model you posted, I first ran this script to all all objects to be selected:

forobjecttreeunder(model()) {
    switch_noselect(a, 0);
}

Then I ran the range-based job, and I was still able to select the objects.

I tried applying a scenario (with the test-tube button), but the objects were still selectable after that. I closed the Experimenter window, and changed some parameter values, and the objects still remained selectable.

So, to get to the root of this issue, here's what you can do. Try running the above script in your model, on your computer. Verify that all the objects are selectable at that point.

Once all your objects are selectable again, save that version of the model. Then, see if running the experimenter causes the problem again. If it does, post a comment on this question, explaining your exact steps (which buttons you clicked on, and then what happened). The post the selectable model, along with your steps, and we'll get you sorted out.

It tried for a third time to run Experimenter with a simple model with the same configurations and I got the same result, although I realized the problem didn't happen after running Experimenter, it actually occurred after selecting a parameter for a Ranged Base Experiment. I show you this in this video:

That is very useful, and yes, that is a bug. I'll get that on the dev list. Thanks for your help in identifying the issue, and for such a nice video. That should be enough to figure out why that's happening.
