Random Error Occurring in Model?

[ FlexSim 21.1.5 ]

Hi Team,

I am working in healthcare module. There is random error occurring in model after 64 days of run length as below:

It is little difficult to check and debug with hit and trial because of long run length time (35 min).

What is the best way to resolve this issue?

Thank you!

Are you saying that it does not always occur at 93093.2669 ?

If so the first thing to do is check you have control of the model by ensuring its repeatability.

Hi @Jason Lightfoot,

It is occurring at same time. But while trying to resolve it, it is little difficult because every time it is taking around 35 min to reach on this event (93093.26 min).

My point is if there is any way to get an idea what is wrong here so that we can resolve it in single attempt?

Thank you!

You can create an event log to capture what is happening around that time which may give you some clues as to what it happening.

Another approach is to try and create the same set of conditions and events at the start of the model (create initial work in progress for example).

I've had models to debug that take over 12 hours to get to the problem. In these cases I've often opened the event list and any process flows and captured video in the lead up to the offending event so that I can try to glean the sequence leading up to the problem.
