I would like to know how to make a line that reached a certain size on a conveyor belt and trigger the photo eye direct the pieces that arrive from that point to another row outside the conveyor belt? What connections must there be for this to occur?

I've added 2 decision points (you may replaced them with photo eyes too) and a photo eye as shown in the picture. They will help in making decision of when to direct the flowitems where to go next. The decision is setup as the "case function" on the decision point that is placed along the main conveyor, which depends on the state of the photo eye. If the photo eye is "blocked" which has a state value of 4 than flowitems will be directed onto the other lane.
On the photo eye block time and clear time is setup so that only when flowitems are accumulated than the photo eye is blocked.
