Is that by design that the internal StatsCollectors for the People module (model\Tools\Experimenter\ChartTemplates\...) is not reset at "Reset Experiment" or ? Currently the work around seems to be to push "Run Experiment" and short afterwards push "Reset Experiment" if you do not want to save a lot of data in your fsm file.

The "Reset Experiment" button doesn't clear any data, and this is by (current) design. There are a few main features that depend on this data:

  • Everything in the Experiment Results window
  • Calculated Tables that use Experiment.Table in the query
  • Scenario charts (but only when you update their settings; if you have one already made, its calculated data should be fine).

Yes, this can lead to large amounts of data being saved in the model. You can safely clear the subnodes from the StatisticsCollectors, CalculatedTables and ChartTemplates folders in the Tools/Experimenter folder to reduce your save size.

In the future, we are working to make experiment data saved in a separate file, rather than in the model tree, which would avoid this issue entirely.
