Optquest maximum number of variables?

Hi all,

I have just set up a new project with Flexsim 16.0.4 where my initial plan was to optimize 10440 variables by using Optquest.

I defined the variables by using the script window which just worked fine, but when i looked at the .csv export at the end of an optimization run I realized that Optquest did only keep within the lower and upper bound for 8189 variables.

Is this the max. number of variables Optquest can handle?

I tested a scaled down model with 8172 variables and everything works fine.

There is not a limit on the number of variables, as far as I know. However, the total number of iterations OptQuest will try is currently limited to 10000. You might run in to that wall quickly, with so many variables.
