[ FlexSim 18.1.1 ]

I am attempting to do 2 things which I though can be achieve by modifying code in VIEW:/ nodes. However, my code changes "disappear" after I saved my model. Some details are given below. Am I approaching it the wrong way?

a) to disable model tree view

- attempt to change in VIEW:/rootmenu subnodes

b) to disable the Quick properties view for dashboard.

- attempt to change in VIEW:/standviews/modellingutilities/QuickProperties eventfunction node.

@pc neo This is correct, those changes are not saved in your model. If you want to do this you have to create a module and take a look at the Environments option. This post also deals with this.

If it doesn't bother you, maybe you save the changed workspace view as default. I am not certain, if this solves a part of your question.

@pc neo @Jörg Vogel I have the same problem when I'm logged in but not when I log out and then click the link. So if you want to see it you have to log out first. @Ben Wilson can you check what is going on here?

That question was not in the simulation questions space. I have moved it there and it should now be publicly accessible.
