Model Limit Reached

[ FlexSim 16.1.2 ]

My model will no longer allow me to add anything or copy/paste anything. It brings up an error that the model limit was reached and I must upgrade Flexsim for unlimited objects. This is not at all a large model I'm dealing with. I was having this issue with 16.1 and am still having it after I updated to version 16.1.2

@Matthew Pugh

When I look in you FlexSim account information, it appears that you only have a version 16.0 license, that is activated.

When you go into FlexSim and go to Help>License Activation and on the View Licenses tab, click View Licenses button, do you see something similar to FULLY TRUSTED?

This shows that the license is FULLY TRUSTED and active. What does it show for you? I see in your account information that you only have a version 16.0 license.

I would try Returning the license you have, going into you FlexSim account, upgrade your license and then go into FlexSim and put the new license activation ID in to activate your license. It doesn't sound to me like your license is being recognized. You should not run into any "limits" as you are saying that you are.

Let us know if you have any problems or questions.

When I go to that in Flexsim, it appears that my license is not recognized because nothing is showing when I try to view it or return it.

@Matthew Pugh Try going into Help->License Activation->Advanced->Repair. Does it say that there are any corrupted licenses?

@Matthew Pugh Have you recently done a system restore or reinstalled Windows? If not, you can try to re-activate the license on your computer.

"Error 7288 The activation of the fulfillment is denied by the activation policy because fulfill count exceeded the available seat count."

I think the issue may be that the license is still linked to an old computer of mine. I got an upgrade probably 4 months ago and reinstalled the software. I was pretty sure I had the license moved over and was using the software. I have not used Flexsim in a while, so that may be what is happening.

How do I get it swapped over?

@Matthew Pugh Do you still have access to that old computer? If so, you need to return that license, then activate it on your new one.

I don't. We lease our computers, so it's long gone.

It allowed me to activate my license, but it's still not allowing me to add additional objects to my existing models. I tried to upgrade the license, but it didn't work.

You activated the 16.0 version of your license, but you are trying to run FlexSim 16.1. Return the license you are using, then go to the My Licenses section of our website and activate the 16.2 version of your license so that you can run any version of FlexSim up to the latest.

I upgraded your licenses for you. Try returning your current license from FlexSim (Help>License Activation menu option on the Return tab) then log into your FlexSim user account and get your new 16.2 license activation code and activating that code. See if that will make the difference in the problems you are experiencing.
