[ FlexSim 22.2.4 ]

operator-conveyor.fsmI have a continuous conveyor belt that sets the production pace, and the operator works on the product on the belt, moving along until completing the task on the product. I would like to know if it's possible to replicate this in FlexSim because I want to track how much the operator is moving to perform these activities and what would be the ideal size of a station to avoid any issues

I have placed an example file below for better clarification. In this case, my operator has an activity time of 32 seconds, and he cannot walk more than 2 meters to perform this activity.

Just to make clear, can the operator perform the task anywhere on the conveyor - respecting the 2 meter limit?

Yes, that's correct. However, I would like to know, given his current activity time of 32 seconds, how far he would walk and whether he would exceed the 2-meter limit

In process flow it's possible to make something similar to what you want. See the attached model.

Additionally, I recommend you check conveyor speeds, operator speeds, and distances.
