Issues with merge conveyor logic freezing up flexsim

While trying to do a merge of one belt into another, I am stopping/starting the conveyors as necessary. However, when I run the simulation and it actually tries to do the logic, flexsim freezes and locks up. Any ideas what I could be doing?
