I'm encountering a behavior with the Optimizer tool that I’d like to understand better.
To troubleshoot a previous error with the Optimizer, I tried setting the run time to a very high value (99999999), and after that, the model started working correctly. For some reason, it seems the optimizer does not respect the "infinite" run time setting, but with this large value, the simulation runs fine—so I’ve left it that way for now.
Could someone please explain why the optimizer doesn't accept or work correctly with infinite run time, and what would be the correct way to configure this if I want the model to run until all tasks are completed?
The model is designed to stop only when all production orders are completed, so ideally the run time should be "unlimited."
