The rack object is in FlexSim 19.0 still classic. You have to go through the input process of this object to put items in the rack. You find in the properties window the tab rack. There are two functions responsible for placing items into the rack

• Place in Bay
• Place in Level

If you get a more familiar with FlexSim, you’re seeing in the source code that those functions returns number values for bay and level. You have to transfer the data for bay and level, when the item enters the rack into those functions or you choose the templates from the picklist of each function, which do the placing.
