At least several objects, such as waiting lines, have Advanced Visuals in their Quick Properties where one can check Show Object Floor or uncheck this option. My question is if I uncheck the Show Object Floor, how can I later make it visible?

There are a few ways to do this:

1. Right click on the library icon corresponding to the object's type. This will bring up a list of areas/groups, find your object in the list and select it.

2. Use the Find Objects tool (View->Find Objects). Choose the object from the list and click the center in view button.

3. Find your object in the tree and select it.

Doing any of these will highlight your object and the Quick Properties panels will show its options.

Matthew, Thank you for your prompt and helpful reply. I found the first method worked perfectly. The second method worked perfectly only if the model view was selected before clicking the Center in View button. But with the third method I could not see the Advanced Visuals option whereby I would have the opportunity to hide or show the objects floor. I have attached a model so you can point out what I'm doing wrong.

Incidentally, I learned the value of the Find Objects tool. Can we add another topic to this discussion?

I am also learning more about FlexSim Answers.

Thanks, Tee

The second method works differently depending on which document window is active. With the 3D view active it centers the view on the object and selects it. With the tree view active it scrolls the tree so the object node is visible and selects it. At this point it is the now the same as the third method. Most other windows should cause the Find Objects tool to be grayed out.

You're right about the third method, the Advanced Visuals panel should show up in the tree view as well. It looks like that's an oversight on our part.
