How can i know if i should pay for my license as a student ?

Hello there! I have been using FLEXSIM with a student license which was supposed to expire in September 2020. But the software is still running with the same functions. Can someone please check the status of my license ? I have clicked on "return license" without knowing what does it mean. So please if I'm using it in a paid version can you help me deactivate it ? I can't afford it.

Hi @Soufiane B,

It does look like the license you had was a Student License that expired back in September. Once it was returned, you can not reactivate the license because it is expired.

When you returned the license, you basically put the software into demo mode. This does not cost you anything. What it does do is limit the number of objects you have and turn of features like the experimenter and the ability to run multiple replications with different results. You can still build smaller models in it or run old models, but I would be cautious in making recommendation based off of the results because of the limited features.
