@Martin K5, I think it is a feature of graphic cards to create live podbroadcasts for gamers. There are also video grabbers available with a low latency to store video files through an usb interface. You find examples to use OBS Studio to record or stream live video games sessions. At the end it is a compromise of frame rate and available hardware if you get suitable data for 4K video.

@Martin K5 , Please don’t try recording on a notebook gpu. Their performance is limited or hardware encoder are disabled.

Using the video recorder to record 3600 frames (1minute @60fps) at 4K with an i5-9600K and GTX3080ti took 3-4 minutes. Resulting files are 350MB.

Hi,

and did you try recording in RTX mode with the same settings? This is where I struggle with the total time.

Thank you.

No - that's too high resolution to be done quickly with my hardware - as Phil says you'd want to reduce resolution or framerate and/or increase your GPU power to get improvements.
