Global processes

I have begun creating a global process which is supposed to represent other activities performed by other nursing staff. First, how do I set the starting time for the global process? I’d like it to start at the same time as a certain patient track activity.

Also, is it possible to link some of the activities in the global process to the patient track? For instance, I’d like one global process to be a part of one activity in the patient track. However, I would not like the global process to delay the patient activity if the global process staff is not available. Is this possible? Maybe I could just define the starting time of that global process to be at the same time as the patient process?

It sounds to me like what you need is just more patient activities. Global processes are mostly used for representing task unrelated to a specific patient (e.g. phone calls). If you want to staff to do things based off a specific patient the easiest thing to do is to start an activity on the patient. Patients can have several activities active at the same time (in parallel), although they're only allowed to have one activity that makes them travel.
