Hi,

I'm trying to use the global modeling per the tutorial. Please see attached model.

Here are the issues :

1. parts do not accumulate on QUEUE 2

2. parts on the combiner are not being combining and just one combined part(pallet & box ) seats on the combiner and doesn't move.

3. The forklift picks up the boxes only without the pallet.

In Step 2 of the tutorial there is a note that says to make sure that the Pallet Conveyor is connected to the 1st input port of the Combiner. If you look at your model the conveyor is connected to the 3rd input port. You can fix this by reranking the input connections of the Combiner on the General tab of its properties or by disconnecting and reconnecting the objects in the proper order.

The first input port of the Combiner is where it gets the container object from so this needs to be the pallet source.

I did the change on the general tab but now the forklift is moving the pallets only.

You set your Combiner to use the Join combine mode instead of Pack. Join destroys all flowitems except the one that came in port 1. Pack puts all other flowitems inside the first flowitem.

One more thing can you batch without using a combiner and using an operator instead?

The queue can batch, or you can use Process Flow to model whatever custom behavior you want. If you have more questions about that you should ask it as a separate question.
