Flexsim no response when recording video with shared sequence

[ FlexSim 23.1.3 ]

I would like to record a video by using shared sequence to show the dashboard. When I started recording video, the left top corner of the 3D view turned white. Then Flexsim had no response and needed to be ended at task manager.

As far as I know, you can record a display with dashboard chart output only by external programs. There are several tools available to record displays. Some graphic card drivers support this, or you find software to publish videos on social media or as podcasts doing screen recording.

Does it mean that the shared sequence in the video recorder cannot output video with 3D view and dashboard? I searched that some Flexsim users can actually record the video with this function and show the dashboard. I am just wondering if it is because of different version of Flexsim.

@jeff, please can you write, which answers did you refer to? Dashboard bases on an internal browser. There seems to be a conflict of synchronizing output overlays, which results in a white dashboard, while you record a 3D view model window internally from within FlexSim. Externally programs does not record single overlay windows, they just record a current screen cache.
